Overview

I redesigned Audible's ad creation workflow, turning linear brief-to-broadcast cycles into a component-based process that ships more variants in less time.

I designed a new ad creation workflow for Audible, replacing a linear chain of briefs, drafts, and review rounds with a tighter loop between creative, strategy, and production. The process breaks ads down into reusable components — hooks, voice-over structures, music beds, calls-to-action — so teams can assemble variants without starting from zero each time.

I sat in on real campaign cycles, identified where time was lost in handovers, and restructured the stages so feedback arrives when it still changes outcomes. The result is a faster path from concept to on-air, with enough flexibility to test multiple creative directions without blowing the production budget.

Outcome

  • Component-based creative system (hooks, VOs, beds, CTAs)
  • Feedback arrives when it still changes outcomes
  • More creative variants tested per campaign budget
